In late July, York North (Aurora, Newmarket, and surrounding areas) hosted an in-person/hybrid junior youth camp designed for youth between the ages of 11-15 years old. Each year, the camp provides a rich environment for spiritual education and a precious opportunity for the animators and junior youth to come together. Since the pandemic, the camps have been mostly virtual. However, following Ontario Safety Guidelines, the coordinator took the opportunity to conduct in person gatherings. The junior youth read passages out of books, engaged in musical activities, and carried out service projects.
